Before getting into real estate, I spent 22 years bartending before hanging up my cocktail strainer for a lock box key. Besides that, I worked for five years in a social marketing firm in Philadelphia, after graduating from Temple University, focusing on video and radio campaigns. From these experiences, I have learned a lot about customer service, marketing and relations that translate well to my role as a REALTOR®. I value my easy-going personality and ability to talk to anyone, using these traits to connect with clients and help them open up.
I decided to pursue real estate because it is a career field where I can take charge of my own business and define my success. There is no one stopping me from being as successful as I can be. Also, I truly enjoy getting to know people and finding commonalities between us. I often find people have more in common with others than they do differences and I love the surprise when you find what that connection is.
Aside from real estate, I am an avid traveler. I have gone from Nashville to Fiji to London and back. The world is such an interesting place and I’ve made friends everywhere I went. I am recently married to my wonderful husband, Mike. I consider myself a “city-girl,” but he is definitely a “country boy” and living in Lancaster gives us the best of both worlds. Coming from a family of six, I can honestly say that family means everything to me. We’re all there for each other through the good times and bad and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Working out is my stress-relief, whether it be with training sessions at ITrain studio, playing softball or taking salsa dancing lessons. Additionally, I like to give back to my community through my position on the board of the Lancaster City Human Relations Commission and as a volunteer with the Children Deserve a Chance Foundation.
